Worked great and as expected! I was a little concerned to make sure the connection was secure. The included unit connected seamlessly to my stock wiring harness of the gas pedal sensor on my 07 Camry. Just make sure you hear the “click” when snapping it in.
I exclusively use city mode for the linear reduce and elimination of stock throttle lags. Completely transformed the car to be more responsive and fun to drive. No lag merging or going over/through small hills.
I will not use sport mode or sport+ mode since these modes are too aggressive and would lead to unwanted stress on the power train (due to the nature of the throttle mapping for daily driving)
However city mode +3 and +4 are absolutely fantastic and feel really nice. I like the ease of the app to control the settings to either turn it off and restore factory response or use eco mode if it’s raining.
Just have to keep in mind if the car computer detects any fluctuations in signal it will revert to limp mode and throw a code. If that happens I will have to pull over and restore the factory connection/pull out the pedal commander.
Overall, it was expensive but it delivered in terms of quality and performance (so far, only 2 weeks of use), if the device fails I will report back but I continue to use and enjoy the Pedal Commander to bring an enjoyably responsive feel to my 07 Camry which comes with a notable throttle delay from the factory.

We've had VERY poor acceleration with our 2004 Toyota Camry ever since we bought it. The acceleration has always been very VERY sluggish. Our 2000 Camry had drive with wire without a computer, and our 2000 Camry was 3X as peppy as our newer 2004 Camry. We took the car to the Dealer and was told we just had to live with it since that's the way the car was made..... I recently ordered the Pedal Commander and the difference is like night and day and we now have a very "peppy" car.
But, There was quite a learning curve to install. We ultimately found out that we had to punch the Star to turn it on and punch the Star button again to go from the different settings! But, once we finally figured this our car runs like a Brand-new Car. There were NO INSTRUCTIONS in the package !!! Pedal Commander should have put a 1-page instruction sheet in there packaging!!! Nevertheless, the Pedal Commander is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and definitely well Worth the cost !!!!

I've been using the Pedal Commander for about 2 weeks now. It has revived my sluggish 2018 Camry LE. I was seriously considering buying another car because of the Camry's dangerous throttle lag. My car is much more responsive now with the PC installed. I'm happy I don't have to spend thousands for a new auto. I did have considerable difficulty disconnecting the original throttle cable on the Camry and finally had to use a pliers and a good bit of muscle to remove it. But other than that, it was easy.

For years I was annoyed by the lag in the response when I step on the gas in my camry. I began looking into this and finally pulled the trigger after days of internet searches to see if it was worth its salt. Now after installing it and using it for 2 weeks, I'd say it was worth every penny. I played around with the settings and like other people have said, City mode is good enough for everyday use but if you want an extra oomph then sport / sports+ will be more suitable. The deadzone is basically gone so I am happy this thing breathed new life into the car. I will say the installation was a bit tricky and took longer than I expected. So be prepared to go in with tools to pry off the factory throttle plug since mine was latched on tight and only came off after I grabbed a clamp since I didn't have enough room nor the force with just my hands to unplug it. After that the installation was straightforward and I'm a happy camper

Instructions and a video made install very easy, probably took 10 minutes. First drive after install made me fall in love with my car my all over again. The 2 second delay when you accelerate is now gone when driving in sport or sport+ mode. Eco mode kinda turned my car into a slug and has a nice long 3-4 second delay before accelerating; but I understand the benefits, just seems like it could create a hazard in certain situations. All in all I’m happy with my purchase

2024 Camry SE 2.5. Pedal Commander works extremely well in eliminating the famous Toyota drive by wire lag. City+4 works for me both in the city and interstate.
I strongly recommend disconnecting both terminals on the battery prior to installation. The new logic in the 24 Camry, even powered down and key at a distance, still will detect the pedal disconnect and display check engine and reduce powered errors.

I had my doubts, until I installed the product and holy smokes, I’m a believer now. This thing is amazing and turned my Camry into a completely different vehicle. I currently use Sport +4 setting and this is plenty of response from the throttle input. I would recommend the product to anyone who currently is experiencing throttle lag.

Great product the unit works as it should. I was able to feel the responsiveness immediately only complaint I have is for a unit like this you'd think the velcro sticker sent with it would actually work cleaned with alcohol prep as stated and it fell off with in a 48 hr period multiple time must find better way to ancor unit.

Hands down the best throttle controller I have owned. I have purchased cheaper brands and models in the past, but none of them have lived up to their potential like pedal commander has so far. You can definitely feel the fast response time when accelerating and being able to switch modes is also a plus. It might seem a little pricey, but definitely worth the money if you're looking for quality and positive results.

I have a Toyota TRD. It was pretty quick. However, the reason I wanted to check out the PEDAL COMMANDER was because, I commute for an hour to work on a highway with curves and a mountain (Pacheco Pass 152). Drivers are always jockying for position and a few occasions I've had semi's drift over to my lane so I need a quicker response and or better braking system. I have to decide whether to punch it or apply breaks at times.
So now with the PC it really goes. My car has pedal bars on the steering wheel. However, my car also has econ, normal and sport mode installed. NOW, I can even me in ECON mode but have my pedal Commander on super sport mode and still is extremely quick. WAY quicker than before. So, when I have the PC and my car in sports mode it TEARS ASS. Love itttttt

I have seen these things for years! To be 100% honest, I was skeptical at first. But I had some friends with another brand keep recommending I buy a throttle controller. Out of rebellious intent, I looked up other leading companies in Throttle Controllers. I watched endless YouTube videos, read many reviews, and finally made my choice on Pedal Comander. The packaging was really nice and cooler in person than the videos I watched. The hardest part of the installation was "Where do I put the controller?" As you can see in the video, I turned a useless storage slot into the incognito holder for the controller. Mind you, these are way smaller than I thought. Which worked out perfectly. Now... if I didn't know better and you told me that this PC gave me 40 HP I would have believed you! I can NOT believe the difference that this unit makes! The 8th Gen Camry isn't know for it's throttle response. But I had no idea how bad it actually was. Especially since the past 6 months of owning it, I've gotten used to it. There is more of a difference between using the Pedal Comander and not using, than driving my v6 TRD Camry and my girls 4 cyl Camry XSE. AND THERES A 60-80 HP DIFFERENCE! This was 100% worth every penny and I will buy one for every single car I own from here on out! I know this might seem like an unrealistic review... but I am telling you now. Buy this mod . I'm more impressed by the Pedal Comander than when I put my exhaust on my car.

In the 23 Camry with the eight speed transmission there is severe lag from take off and throughout the power band. I installed a PC on my 23 Camry and 21 4 Runner. Currently have them set on Sport 2 for daily driving. Instead of having to put the pedal down almost half way to get the vehicle moving at the factory serting, I barely have to tap it now. Greater response time and somewhat less gear hunting in the Camry. I love the Sport plus 4 (maximum setting) on the interstate. Dont change a thing PC, your product is solid.

I go around racing people for money with my stock Camry and most of the time I win because I’m pretty quick on the pedal I know how to drive but now I don’t even have to be quick on the Bedroom still have to know how to drive I like the sporty number for I’m one of them kind of people that just put it to the limit and keep going with it but I love the product didn’t ask for anything better what they claim it can do you can do it even more I cannot believe the response time you would’ve thought I put a turbo in the stock 2006 Camry unbelievable I would recommend this to anybody out there I’m going to buy one for my son he has a Subaru Forrester has a pretty small motor for the weight and size of the vehicle but I guaranteed him and I told him I would pay for 3/4 of the Pedal Commander that he’ll be amazed just what we are looking for thank you Pedal command

I was so disappointed when I got my new 2019 Camry SE. I thought there was something work with the car. Step on the gas and it felt like you were in quicksand or mud. It just wouldn't respond and lag.
I felt at times I was going to get killed driving because the car would not respond quick enough if you needed to get out of the way. Toyota kept telling me there was nothing wrong and eventually I put too many miles on the car to even think about returning it. I had a 2011 Camry and loved it. Gave it to my son when I bought the 2019 Camry. And I seriously considered swapping cars with him to get back the performance I grew to love about the Camry. But I wasn't giving my 17yr old a brand new car. Pedal Commander has brought back that excitement in driving the Camry. It's too bad I had to by an aftermarket item to get back that excitement. I just wish I bought this sooner

Have had this item on my 2016 Tundra for years and loved it so when we bought the wife the 2020 Camry TRD and of course had throttle lag we decided to see if this would do the same for her car. I like this product, and I recommend it. But, if you have no sense of feeling to your throttle, you better not get it. Even with Sport+ at +4 sensitivity, you still can drive like a grandma , but if you feel your throttle pedal, you can definitely enjoy how this thing works. I have a 2022 Toyota Camry XSE V6. If you set this pedal commander to ECO mode, and you also set your car to ECO mode, you can really get 20 MPG, if you know how to feel your cars throttle. I drive in Brooklyn NYC with traffic lights every 10 meters, lots of acceleration all the time. But if I want to feel some good acceleration, I set my pedal commander to City +2 and I also set my cars setting to Sport mode. Overall, get it..... you'll like it.Update: City +2 isn't enoug anymore. I now have the urge to keep it Sports+/+4 .I need a faster car!

Have a'22 XSE V6. Stock, the car was fast. But with PC the shifting is cleaner, response unreal. Within 5seconds was hitting 80mph ( was a straight a way, no cars around). Have a '19forerunner w/PC inside too. Highly recommend this for the responsible driver. **here in HI we use our own subsidized vehicle for policework. Alot of us officers use this which makes driving much easier. Thankn you Pedal Commander.

City plus 2 seems to be the sweet spot between modes for me.
Eco mode is more sluggish than stock, but that’s to save you fuel and how that mode is supposed to be!
Sport plus is as race car as a 4 cylinder can get.
Overall give it a 8.5/10

I recommend it to everyone especially due to weather conditions when there’s specifically snow I activate the lost setting so that it doesn’t slip if I put too much pressure on the gas perfect for any weather!

The pedal commander came highly recommended from a number of web sites and YouTube channels. So I figured I would give one a try. Main reason for wanting one was to remove the delay between stepping on the accelerator pedal and my Camry actually accelerating forward that is comes with from the factory. Well the pedal commander not only got rid of the delay, it also really stepped up how my car preform. My Camry SE really drives like a proper sports sedan. I highly recommend getting one for your vehicle if you enjoy driving.

My 2020 Camry FINALLY feels like a sports car. I can't believe the difference this makes. City Mode +2 or +3 works great for slower speed limit roads. Sports Mode +0 or +1 is amazing for everything. Seriously can't believe how well this works. Installation was simple but space is cramped under there. I haven't seen any impact on my gas mileage either. Love it!!!!!

I was told the Pedal Commander would make a big difference, but I thought it was exaggeration until I installed one on my car. It makes a huge difference in the acceleration and handling. I've got it set on the regular Sport at +4 and it's like driving a different car. I'm almost scared to try it at Sport+, but once I get used to the Sport setting I know I'll have to at least try it.It's an expensive gadget, but worth it. I'm finding out how my car was really meant to perform.

Bought through the pedal commander store but let me telllllll youuuuu how dope this little gadget is.It does everything it says it does and then some.The installation isn’t too bad you just gotta dig through the internet how to remove the original part and plug in to the pedal commander which I luckily found one on YouTube for my car make and model. As a female, I struggled a bit but managed to get it down after almost an hour, hopefully yours isn’t as difficult to remove!My car, my little 4 cylinder Camry, is literally burning rubber like skrrrrttt when I turn a corner all fast on the sport+ mode. It’s dangerous. I love it!
